Day 41 of the 2016 season: Hoyles and the slick mm..mm good

Wasn't the windiest of days but luckily I had my 13M Z. The 11 might had been a struggle to get to the slicks. Other kiters were on 12s - 15M sizes.
Fun day as the forecast came through and by 2:30 I was on the water with my 13M Z. At first it took a lot of work for me to get to the slick but once there with several others it was worth the struggle. Glassy water deep into the slick with good wind speed and direction made for some water ski conditions, great edging and boosting.
Did the downwind run back to Hoyles for a break at 4:30 and then at 5:00 back out to the slick with slightly higher winds and a few degrees more of east to the wind.
Overall a great day with mostly enough wind to carve but the 13 Z is a different kite when it comes to carving, not as quick turning.  Hmm.. maybe shorter lines are needed.
