Session 40 of the 2019 season: Manistee Kiteboarding!

Manistee Kiteboarding!
Jerry and I decided to Drive south to Manistee. The wind forecast was much better in that area.
Cloudy and cool when we rigged and launched at the Harbor, Jerry on his 12M and me on my 13M. (My 11M kite had an air leak)
We kited out of the harbor and spent most of the time at the south side.
Mostly steady north-northwest winds in the 15-20 mph range made it a fun day. Not quite glassy slicks but there were some clean rollers to play on. Easy kiting with these kind of conditions.
Eventually it got sunny and mid-70s. Water was comfortable probably near 70 degrees.
2 other kiters and 1 windsurfer on this sunny weekday.
This is my first time kiting at this location...I'll be back for sure. Big uncrowded sandy beaches, fairly safe launching/landings and easy access to the water. And many brew-pubs in the downtown area.
Overall a fun day with the all around fun master Jerry.
