Day 55 of the 2017 season: Two discipline day, near epic 5.0 Windsurfing and 9M kite boarding

Two discipline day: A rare day where I got to windsurf and kite board.
Both worked out with near epic conditions, Windsurfing 2 hours with 90% planning on my favorite sized sail, (5.0M). Kite boarding with my favorite sized kite, (9.0M). Couldn't ask for a better multi discipline day.
First good solid windsurf session since the OBX in April. Thoroughly enjoy the windsurf session, duck jibes, fast tacks, regular jibes, wave slashing and straight line speed in the flats. I can still accomplish all the stuff I learned.
Also took out Brian's demo Slingshot windsurf foil board briefly. Got up on the foil for short runs, definitely need more practice with the body and weight positioning on the board. Also too much wind for a good trail with it.

TOB: 2 hours Windsurfing, 12:00-2:00: 3 hours plus Kiteboarding 3:00-5:30
Gear: 5.0 sail with 100 liter RRD FSW board.  9M Z kite, TT
Water conditions: Typical HI
Wind: WNW 10-30 mpg
Weather:  mostly sunny near 60
Highlights: Near epic for windsurfing and kite boarding. An afternoon trip to the slick where the kite boarding was EPIC.
