Day 10 of the 2016 season: Metro Beach fires up to a 9M session

A 9M day on the water, a great day for getting in shape for the OBX upcoming annual trip.
Choppier conditions then most days, directly onshore winds with high water levels also made it a difficult launch.
Normal crew Chris, Keith, Craig, Jerry-Paul and a few others scoring a session in 9M plus conditions.

Gear:
 9M Z TT board
TOW:  1.5 hours from 4:00 - 5:30
Water Conditions: Extremely choppy with some nice swell to play on
Weather:  cloudy, occasional light rain, storm threats, temperatures in lower 50s
Wind: 20 - 28 onshore south winds. A tricky launch with the 1-2 footers knocking me over in neck deep water.
Highlights: Playing in the swell yards from the beach

Day 9 of the 2016 season: Back in Michigan for the home opener, 13M session saver

First time on the water in almost 2 months - felt some soreness the day after.
Felt comfortable with new 13M Z kite, it performed well excellent boost although bar pressure was on the high side, or maybe just weaker arms from lack of kiting.  I used the 13M kite once on the snow where it felt very similar to the 11M Z.  I can say the same for water use very similar to the 11M Z with the exception of boost.
Big crew out, about 10-15 kiters on big foils, 17M down to 12Ms.

Gear: 13 M Z kite and 150 TT board
TOW:  1.5 hours from 5:30 - 7:00
Surface Conditions: Fairly smooth water surface enough wind up
high to make it a decent 13M day.
Weather: Mostly cloudy upper 40s
Wind: Mainly SSE Lite breeze on the water but up higher there
was enough.
Highlights: It was good to see all the crew back at it
